Prison Pickaxe Levels, Quality, Masteries and Combos: how it works
Your pickaxe levels up to 5,000 from XP earned by mining, and each level unlocks more enchants. On top of levels, you can raise its Quality, buy masteries, build a Combo and equip a seasonal skin.
How to open it: Use /quality for Pickaxe Quality, /mastery for masteries and /pickaxe skins for skins. /pickaxevalue shows what your pickaxe is worth and /valuetop ranks it.
There are currently 11 Quality tiers, 6 masteries, 8 Combo tiers and 6 in-season pickaxe skins.
- Pickaxe levels: Earn 165 XP per block before boosts, and get a level crate key every time you level up.
- Pickaxe Quality: Bought with Prestige Points, each tier adds 10% Tokens, Gems and Essence, up to 2x at Tier 11.
- Masteries: Bought with Essence, they boost things like money, Essence, Tokens and Gems, or enchant activation chance.
- Combo: Your hand-mining streak, gaining 1 per block and shown on a boss bar.
- TRANSCENDENT: The top Combo tier at a 600,000 streak, adding 120% of your money multiplier.
- Pickaxe skins: Redeemed from vouchers, they boost currencies and add a share of your total money, up to 60% for Soulreaper.
Note: Only in-season skins show in /pickaxe skins and give boosts.
Tips
- All masteries go to level 10 except Enchant Freak, which stops at level 5.
- Keep hand-mining without long breaks, because your Combo resets after 5 minutes without breaking a block.
- Quality tiers need a pickaxe level too, from level 50 for Tier 2 up to level 1,500 for Tier 11.
Example: Levels 1 to 24 need 20,000 XP each. At 165 XP per block before boosts, that is about 122 blocks per level.

The pickaxe levels up to 5,000 from XP earned per block mined (165 XP per block before boosts). New enchants unlock as it levels, and every level-up gives a level crate key.

Pickaxe Quality tiers
Pickaxe Quality (/quality) is bought with Prestige Points. Each tier adds +10% Tokens, Gems and Essence, up to 2x at Tier 11.

Pickaxe masteries
Masteries (/mastery) are bought with Essence. All go to level 10 except Enchant Freak (level 5).

Combo tiers
Combo is your hand-mining streak: +1 for every block you break, reset after 5 minutes without mining. Higher tiers add a bigger share of your total money multiplier, shown on a boss bar.

Pickaxe skins in season
Pickaxe skins are redeemed from vouchers and give Token, Gem, Essence, crit, activation and Pickaxe XP boosts plus a share of your total money. Only in-season skins show in /pickaxe skins and give boosts.

What is the Combo?
Your hand-mining streak. It climbs through eight tiers from Heating Up (125) to TRANSCENDENT (600,000) and adds up to 120% of your money multiplier on top; it resets after 5 minutes without mining.
What is the max pickaxe level?
5,000. Enchants unlock as it levels, up to Kingpin at level 5,000 (which also needs Rebirth 1).
