Prison Gangs, Gang Top and Gang Upgrades: how it works
Gangs let you team up with friends for shared boosts and a spot on the gang top. Every block your members hand-mine counts toward hourly, daily and weekly gang events.
How to open it: Create a gang with /gang create <name> and invite players with /gang invite. Use /shardshop for points, /gangchat for chat and /gangeventtop for standings.
There are currently 4 gang upgrades and 5 shard shop tiers.
- Members: Gangs start with 5 member slots, and the Gang Members upgrade raises it to 6.
- Roles: Recruit, Elder, Officer, Co-Leader and Leader.
- Token, Gem and Money Boost: Each adds 0.02x per level for the whole gang, up to 0.20x at level 10.
- Gang events: Placements earn up to 16 points hourly, 128 daily and 300 weekly.
- Gang bank: Members deposit Shards with
/gangdeposit to pay for upgrades and extra points. - Shard shop: Buy 10 to 30 gang points per tier with Shards, and the ladder resets every 7 days.
Note: Gang points reset every Saturday at 3PM ET, right after the weekly event pays out.
Tips
- Daily events reset at midnight ET, and hourly events reset every hour.
- Gang names can be up to 16 letters or numbers.
- Level Shard Finder on your pickaxe so you can feed the gang bank.
- Gang upgrades cost Gang Shards from the bank plus Tokens.
Example: Winning every hourly event in one day gives 24 x 16 = 384 points. Add first in the daily event for 128 more, a total of 512.
How gangs and gang top work
Create a gang with /gang create <name> (up to 16 letters or numbers) and invite players with /gang invite. Gangs start with 5 member slots; the Gang Members upgrade raises it to 6. Roles are Recruit, Elder, Officer, Co-Leader and Leader.
Every block a member mines by hand counts for the gang in hourly, daily and weekly events. At each reset, gangs earn points by placement (up to 16 hourly, 128 daily and 300 weekly). Points rank the gang top and reset every Saturday at 3PM ET.
Members deposit Shards into the gang bank with /gang deposit. The bank pays for gang upgrades (Token, Gem and Money boosts for the whole gang) and for extra points in the /shardshop. /gangchat toggles gang chat and /gangeventtop shows the event standings.
Gang upgrades
Gang upgrades apply to every member. Each level costs Gang Shards (from the gang bank) plus Tokens.

Gang points and gang top
Every block a member mines by hand counts toward the gang's hourly, daily and weekly events. When each event resets, gangs earn points by placement. Points rank the gang top, and points reset every Saturday at 3PM ET.

Gang shard shop
Gangs can also buy points with shards from the gang bank in /shardshop. Each tier unlocks after the previous one, and the ladder resets every 7 days.

Yes. TalonMC Prison has gangs with hourly, daily and weekly gang tops, mine bosses in four rarities and three Mega Boss fights a day.
