How land claims work
Survival is grief protected with GriefPrevention. Grab a Claim Wand with /claimwand or from the free Starter kit, left-click one corner, right-click the opposite corner, then shift + right-click to create the claim. Shift + left-click switches to subclaim.

Open /jobs to join or quit jobs for free. You start with 3 job slots and unlock a 4th, 5th and 6th at Survival Levels 10, 20 and 30. Quitting a job keeps your level.

/levelup shows 100 Survival Levels. Each one has requirements: money (spent when you level up) plus lifetime votes, completed quests and job levels (which are only checked, not spent). Levels go in order and every level gives a Level crate.

/missions opens a daily board with 40 missions: 5 in each of 8 categories (Mine World, Mining, Fishing, Deadzone, Combat, Farming, Exploration, Collector). Each category has two Tier I, two Tier II and one Tier III mission, and each mission has several steps.

Legendary Spawners are TalonMC's custom spawners, in tiers 1 to 5. Higher tiers spawn more mobs, faster, with bigger drop multipliers, and tiers 3 and up stack mobs into one entity (up to 2,500).

Angling replaces vanilla fishing. Cast, wait for the boss bar to show REEL!, then right-click inside the window; too early or too late loses the catch, and a perfect reel pays a bonus. Your Angling Level (max 100) speeds up bites and improves rare fish, sea.

Jobs are the steady income: pick jobs that match how you play, and check /jobs for the current 48-hour boosts. Miner pays the most per action and scales with ore value; Deadzone jobs Enforcer and Scavenger pay well from level 1.

PvP on TalonMC Survival is opt-in. It is off by default, and a hit only lands when both players have PvP enabled with /pvp. There is no PvP in the Deadzone or the Mine World.
Keep inventory is on by default. If you turn it off with /keepinventory, you drop your items on death.

The End is unlocked by the community: /end shows the goals and lets you donate money toward them.
SMP vs survival server: what is the difference?
SMP means survival multiplayer. Some people use it for small whitelisted friend servers, others for any public survival server. TalonMC Survival is a public SMP: anyone can join, the world is shared, claims keep your builds safe, and keep inventory means a death does not cost you your gear.
How to join the TalonMC Survival SMP server
Join on Java Edition
- Open Minecraft Java EditionLaunch the game and click Multiplayer.

Yes, keep inventory is on by default for everyone. You can turn it off for yourself with /keepinventory.
