Skyblock Pets and Pet Rarities: how it works
Pets give you extra boosts while you play. Normal pets add a passive boost that grows with level, and Hero pets have abilities that proc while you grind.
How to open it: Type /pets to manage your pets and /petstorage to store pet eggs.
There are currently 13 pets: 8 Normal pets and 5 Hero pets, across 6 rarities.
- Coin pets: Crop Coin, Mob Coin, Mine Coin, Fish Coin and Forage Coin pets each boost one skill coin.
- Money pet: A Normal pet that boosts the money you earn.
- Skill XP and Island XP pets: Normal pets that boost your skill XP or your island XP.
- Zeus: A Hero pet with a chance to kill 100 mobs in a stack.
- Super Charge: A Hero pet that breaks 25 nearby crops and replants them.
- Poseidon: A Hero pet with a chance to catch 100 fish virtually.
- Sylvanus: A Hero pet with a chance to instantly harvest 100 logs.
- Excavator: A Hero pet that breaks blocks around you in the Mining World.
Note: The second pet slot only opens while a Booster Cookie is active.
Tips
- Rarer pets level higher and start with a bigger boost, from level 30 for Common up to 100 for Pristine.
- Pet Training events give +50% pet XP, the best time to level a new pet.
- Match your Hero pet to the skill you grind, such as Sylvanus for Foraging or Zeus for Combat.
Pets
Pets hatch from Normal and Hero pet eggs. Normal pets give a passive boost that grows with level. Hero pets have an ability that procs while you grind. Manage them with /pets; store eggs with /petstorage. Booster cookies unlock a second pet slot.

Skyblock Pets and Pet Rarities FAQ
Can solo players compete on the island top?
Yes. Solo islands have their own Solo board and also count on the Co-op board, and solo islands need less XP per island level.
How do pets work?
Pets hatch from Normal or Hero eggs. Normal pets give a passive boost such as money or a skill coin; Hero pets like Zeus, Poseidon and Sylvanus proc big virtual kills, catches or harvests. Rarer pets level higher, up to level 100 for Pristine.
