Skyblock Events and Season Races: how it works
Server events give everyone a short boost to coins, money or XP. Season race challenges reward the first player or island to hit big goals, so there is always something to chase.
How to open it: Type /events to see what is running now. Type /challenges to view the season race challenges.
There are currently 8 server events and 13 season race challenges.
- Coin Frenzy: Gives +50% to all skill coins for 30 minutes.
- Payday: Gives +50% money for 30 minutes.
- Skill Training: Gives +50% skill XP for 30 minutes.
- Island Growth: Gives +50% island XP for 30 minutes.
- Enchant Frenzy: Gives +20% enchant proc for 30 minutes.
- Spawner Frenzy: Gives +10% spawner speed for 30 minutes.
- First Prestige: A race to be the first player to reach prestige 1 in every skill.
- Spawner Hoarder: A race to be the first island to place 5,000 spawners.
Note: Event boosts add to your personal boosts rather than multiplying them.
Tips
- Events roll every 30 minutes and show in a boss bar, so check it before you pick a skill to grind.
- Stack events with a booster cookie for the biggest gains in a single session.
- Armor Training and Pet Training give +50% armor and pet XP, a good time to level both.
- Season races go to whoever finishes first, so start early in the season if you want one.
Seasons
TalonMC Skyblock runs in seasons. Season 9 launched on 12 September 2026. The season has its own battle pass, a season chat tag in the bits shop, race challenges and weekly island competitions counted from week 1.
Skill prestiges were unlocked in steps early in the season and are all open now. The end date of Season 9 and the start of Season 10 have not been set in the game files; watch the TalonMC Discord for the announcement.
Server events
Every 30 minutes the server rolls 3 events at once from this pool. Each lasts 30 minutes and shows in a boss bar. Event boosts add to your personal boosts. Use /events to see what is running.

Season race challenges
Challenges are first-to-finish races. The first player or island to hit each goal wins it. View them with /challenges.
