All Dungeons Zones and How to Unlock Them: how it works

Zones are arenas of 35 mobs of one type, grouped into themed stages from Farm to Sanctum. Each new zone pays about 8x more Money per kill, so climbing zones is the fastest way to grow your income.

How to open it: Type /zone to open the zone menu, or /zone max to buy the best zone you can afford. Pressing the offhand swap key with your sword does the same as /zone max.

There are 25 zone stages with 10 zones each, so 250 zones in total.

  • Unlock in order: You buy zones one at a time with Money, and you cannot skip ahead.
  • Stage bonus: Each stage adds a Souls and Essence bonus, from +2% in Farm up to +55% in Sanctum.
  • Sanctum: The last stage needs Prestige 1 or higher on top of its Money cost.
  • Mob rarities: Mobs come as Common, Rare, Epic or Legendary, worth 1x to 4x a normal mob.
  • Refills and resets: A zone refills when fewer than half its mobs are left, and all zones reset on a 25 minute timer.
  • Zone bosses: Bosses can spawn after kills and drop pet eggs, lootboxes, trait tickets, sword perk points and credits.
  • Night zones: Nether and End are night zones, but they still unlock with Money only.
  • No damage: You never take damage in a zone, so you can focus on killing fast.

Tips

  • Keep Auto Upgrade Zone on, since it moves you up the moment you can afford the next zone.
  • Use /zone go to jump back to your zone, and /zone timer to see when the next reset happens.
  • Plan your first prestige early, because Sanctum has the biggest stage bonus at +55%.

Example: Unlock cost is modifier x 15,000 x 15^(zone number - 1) x 0.7. So zone 2 costs 15x zone 1, and zone 3 costs 15 x 15 = 225x zone 1.

How zones work

A zone is an arena of 35 mobs of one type. Mobs come in four rarities (Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary) worth 1x to 4x a normal mob. When fewer than half the mobs are left, the zone refills, and every zone also resets on a global 25 minute timer.

Each zone pays about 8x more Money per kill than the one before it, and costs about 15x more to unlock. You can only unlock the next zone, so progress is a steady climb from Farm 1 to Void 10. Sanctum, the last stage, needs Prestige 1.

  • /zone max buys the best zone you can afford; pressing the offhand swap key with your sword does the same.
  • Auto Upgrade Zone is on by default, so you move up as soon as you can afford it.
  • Zone bosses can spawn after kills, follow you to higher zones and drop pet eggs, lootboxes, trait tickets, sword perk points and credits.
  • You never take damage in a zone.

All Dungeons zones and how to unlock them

Every stage has 10 zones, each with one mob type. You unlock zones in order with Money; you cannot skip ahead. Each stage also gives a Souls and Essence bonus while you fight there. Unlock cost grows by about 15x per zone (cost = modifier x 15,000 x 15^(zone number - 1) x 0.7).
