Dungeons Hero Pets, Pets and Auras: how it works
Pets and auras are always-on boosts that stack on top of your sword. Hero pets add an ability that fires on hits, normal pets add steady boosts, and auras grow just by swinging.
How to open it: Type /pets to manage pets, traits and egg storage. Type /auras to manage and upgrade auras, and /aurahistory to see recent upgrades.
There are 6 hero pets, 4 normal pets and 6 auras.
- Hero pets: You run 1 hero pet at a time, with a passive boost and an ability on a shared 45 second cooldown.
- Pinball: Boosts Sword XP, and its ability ends with Sword XP +100% for 20 seconds.
- Shade: Boosts Enchant Proc and dashes between mobs, then gives Attack Speed +30% for 15 seconds.
- Juggles: Boosts Damage, spikes mobs from the air, then gives Damage +100% for 15 seconds.
- Haste, Thor and Chain Strike: These three boost Souls and Essence and pay out Souls and Essence when they fire.
- Normal pets: Money, Souls, Essence and Sword XP pets level up for more boost, with 1 active or 2 with a booster cookie.
- Pet rarities: Common, Rare, Legendary, Mythical, Masterful and Pristine, with max levels from 30 up to 100.
- Auras: You start with all 6 at Tier 1 Common, and swinging upgrades them through 7 rarities and 6 tiers.
Tips
- You can equip 4 auras, or 5 with an Aura Slot Voucher.
- Souls and Essence auras reach +7.5 at Tier 6 Talon, the highest values of any aura.
- Pick a hero pet that matches your goal: Pinball for Sword XP, Juggles for Damage, Haste or Thor for Souls and Essence.
