Skyblock is about building an island and leveling skills. Gens is about generators and their output. TalonMC runs both, on the same IP.

Gens is a generators game mode on TalonMC with an Olympus theme. You place generators on your island, sell what they drop, and grind three worlds (Farm, Mine, Lake) with one Omnitool to prestige and unlock better generators.

Gens released on 2026-10-17. The weekly island competition started its first week that day at 3 PM New York time.

Buy them in /genlist with Money. You can place 20 to start, plus 1 slot for every Total Prestige, plus extra slots from ranks and Genslot rewards.

There are 80 tiers, from the Wheat Generator (tier 1) to the Beacon Generator (tier 80).

The Beacon Generator is the top tier: it drops Nether Stars and needs Total Prestige 2,250. Early on, the best generator is the highest tier your Total Prestige has unlocked.

Open a placed generator and pay Money to move it up one tier. You can only upgrade to tiers your Total Prestige has unlocked; tiers 1 to 7 are free to unlock.

Raise your Total Prestige, which is your Farm, Mine and Lake prestiges added together. Tier 8 (Iron) opens at Total Prestige 96 and each tier after needs a little more.

Keep every generator slot full and upgrade your best generators first, then prestige all three worlds to unlock better tiers and more slots. Island upgrades like Generator Speed and Generator Value, plus boosters, multiply that income.

Yes. Generators store drops in /storage while you are offline for up to 8 hours, or 9 to 12 hours with Apollo, Ares, Athena or Zeus. Generator Loaders keep generators in their area running too.

The Omnitool is the one tool you use in every Gens world. It is a Scythe at the Farm, a Pickaxe at the Mine and a Rod at the Lake, and each form has its own enchants, tiers and abilities.

There are 128 enchants: 40 for the Farm, 45 for the Mine and 43 for the Lake. Each unlocks at a world prestige, and maxed enchants can be prestiged up to 5 times.

Flow is a streak reward. Harvest 100 crops, mine 50 ores or catch 10 fish without stopping and you get +20% world XP for 45 seconds (90 seconds at the Lake).

There are three worlds: the Farm, the Mine and the Lake. Each pays its own coin and has its own level, prestige and skill tree, and all three prestiges add up to your Total Prestige.

Level a world up and use /prestige. Prestige N needs level 5 x N in that world, and each prestige gives a generator slot, skill points and progress toward better crops, ores and enchants.

Yes. Invite friends to your island with /is invite. An island holds 7 members, or up to 10 with the Team Size upgrade, and you compete as a team in the weekly competition.

Ranks and store items give real boosts: up to +50% Money and coins, up to 60 extra generator slots and longer offline production with Zeus. Every system (generators, enchants, prestige, companions) can be progressed by playing, and free players get keys and rewards from the tutorial, milestones, voting and the battle pass.

Gens ranks are named after Olympian gods: Hermes, Artemis, Apollo, Ares, Athena and Zeus. Apollo to Zeus give +10%, +15%, +25% and +50% Money and coins.

Companions are mobs that follow you and boost your world XP. Hatch them from eggs with Orbs in /companions and fuse 5 of the same into a higher tier.

Yes. Type /tutorial for 8 chapters and 34 steps with NPC guides like Steve and Farmer Bob. Every step pays a reward and finishing gives keys, income, eggs and Credits.

Yes. Stand in the AFK zone (/afk) to earn 15% of your own active income rate, up to 40% with the Deep Sleep upgrade.

Each week islands race on four boards: Farming, Mining, Fishing and Generator Drops. Open /competition to see standings; the top 100 islands are ranked.

It packs 32 crops into one Enchanted crop, 32 of those into a block and 32 blocks into an Enchanted block, so you carry far more. It is at spawn, and Artemis rank and above can use /condense anywhere.

Yes. It has 150 tiers with a free and a premium track. You earn pass XP from quests and from every 1,500 crops, 1,500 ores or 200 fish.

Keys come from the tutorial, milestones, voting, the battle pass, rank kits and the Key Finder and Key Fortune enchants. Preview a crate in game to see what it holds.
