**Is TalonMC Survival SMP a good SMP server?**

**What is the TalonMC SMP server IP?**
`play.talonmc.net`. Bedrock uses port 19132. Pick Survival in the hub.

**Is TalonMC Survival grief protected?**
Yes. Claim your land with the Claim Wand and only players you trust can build or open containers inside it.

**Can Bedrock players join the SMP?**
Yes. Java and Bedrock players share the same world.

**Is there PvP on TalonMC Survival?**
Only if you want it. PvP is off by default and a hit only lands when both players have turned it on with /pvp.

**Is TalonMC Survival a public SMP server?**
Yes. Anyone can join the public SMP at `play.talonmc.net` on Java or Bedrock, with no application or whitelist.

**Do I need to apply or be whitelisted to join the SMP?**
No. TalonMC Survival is a public SMP. Join `play.talonmc.net` and pick Survival in the hub.

**Is TalonMC Survival vanilla?**
It keeps vanilla survival gameplay and adds land claims, jobs, Survival Levels, trading cards, custom fishing, spawners and the Deadzone on top.

**How do I claim land on TalonMC Survival?**
Get a Claim Wand with /claimwand or from the free Starter kit. Left-click one corner, right-click the opposite corner, then shift + right-click to create the claim.

**How do I trust friends in my claim?**
Stand in your claim and use /trust  to let them build, or /containertrust or /accesstrust for lighter access. /untrust removes it.

**How do I get more claim blocks?**
Survival Levels give 42,750 claim blocks in total, and rank kits, milestones, Vote crates and some armor crates give more. You can also trade them as items with /withdrawclaimblocks.

**Is keep inventory on?**
Yes, keep inventory is on by default for everyone. You can turn it off for yourself with /keepinventory.

**How many jobs are there on TalonMC Survival?**
There are 14 joinable jobs: Miner, Caver, Excavator, Lumberjack, Netherman, Botanist, Smelter, Hunter, Explorer, Farmer, Trader, Brewer, plus the Deadzone jobs Enforcer and Scavenger. You can hold 3 at once and unlock up to 6.

**What is the best job for money?**
Miner has the highest pay per action and scales with ore value, and the Deadzone jobs Enforcer and Scavenger pay the most at low levels. Check /jobs for the jobs boosted this 48-hour cycle, since boosts add up to 2x.

**What is the max job level?**
Every job goes up to level 100, and pay per action grows every level.

**How do I make money fast on TalonMC Survival?**
Level a boosted high-pay job, clear your daily missions, and run the Deadzone for vouchers, contracts and boss pulls, making sure to extract. Spawners and Sell Wands help turn farms into money.

**What is the Deadzone?**
Deadzone is a PvE extraction mode in its own world. You loot crates and fight Thugs, Cops and bosses, then stand on an Extraction Pad to bank your loot.

**What do you lose if you die in the Deadzone?**
You keep your own inventory and gear. You lose the unsecured rewards you have not extracted and your vouchers drop, but your rarest reward stays in your safe pocket.

**Is there PvP in the Deadzone?**
No. Player damage is cancelled in the Deadzone; the mobs and bosses are the threat.

**How do you extract in the Deadzone?**
Stand on an open Extraction Pad for the channel time, 10 seconds plus 1 second per $5M carried, up to 25 seconds. Stepping off cancels and getting hit pauses it; /extract points to the nearest pad.

**How do I get trading cards?**
Claim 3 free Starter packs in /tradingcards, then earn packs from every daily mission, category bonuses, Collector Goals and set rewards. Each pack has 5 cards.

**What happens to duplicate trading cards?**
8 spare copies of a print fuse into 1 copy of the next print up. Your first copy is never used.

**When do daily missions reset?**
The Daily Missions Board and the daily card goal reset at 2PM Eastern time every day.

**How many missions are there per day?**
40: five missions in each of 8 categories, with a bonus for clearing a category and another for clearing the whole board.

**How do I get spawners on TalonMC Survival?**
Legendary Spawners come from rewards such as the Spawner crate, armor crates, Deadzone loot and mission bonuses. Natural vanilla spawners can drop with Silk Touch and a rank-based chance.

**Do Legendary Spawners need Silk Touch?**
No. Breaking one returns it, and sneak-breaking picks up the whole stack. You need build access in the claim.

**Can you stack spawners?**
Yes. Place spawners of the same mob and tier onto each other to stack up to 250, and tiers 3 to 5 also stack mobs up to 2,500.

**How does fishing work on TalonMC Survival?**
Angling replaces vanilla fishing with a timed reel: wait for REEL! and right-click in time. There are 51 fish in 7 rarities plus treasure, sea creatures, bosses, baits and trophies.

**Are there custom armor sets?**
Yes, over 20 netherite-tier sets with 2 and 4 piece bonuses, such as Hellborn, Frostbite, Muertos, Ghost, Nexus, Fairy, Magic and Eclipse. Most come from seasonal armor crates.

**Is TalonMC Survival pay to win?**
Every core system (claims, jobs, levels, Deadzone, missions, trading cards, angling) is free to play, and Squire rank is free with /freerank. The store sells ranks with convenience perks and job multipliers, crate keys and cosmetics.

**How do I get a free rank?**
Run /freerank after 10 minutes of playtime, 2 votes and a linked Discord to get Squire.

**How do I unlock the End?**
The End is unlocked by the community. /end shows the goals and /end deposit lets you donate money toward them.

**How many homes can I set?**
Everyone starts with 1 home. Ranks raise it up to 15, and Survival Levels add 12 more.

**Can I make a player warp for my shop?**
Yes. /pwarp set  creates a free warp in the General, Shop, Grinder or Build category. Warp limits come from your rank and Survival Level.
