## How TalonMC Skyblock works

### How skills work
Skyblock progression runs on five skills: Farming, Combat, Mining, Fishing and Foraging. Each skill has its own Harvester tool, its own skill coin and its own enchant tree. You level a skill by doing its activity, and every level unlocks better crops, ores.

### How to prestige a skill
When a skill hits its level cap with a full XP bar, open /skills and prestige it. You pay that skill's coins plus money, the skill goes back to level 1, and the level cap rises: 300 at P0 up to 1,600 at P10. Any unclaimed rewards from the run are collected.

### Harvester tools and enchants
Each skill uses a Harvester tool that levels with your skill. The tool menu (/upgrade, or right-click the tool) lists 120 custom enchants across the hoe, sword, pickaxe, axe, rod and shovel. Enchants unlock at set skill levels, and the 29 strongest unlock at.

### Islands and co-op
Create an island with /is create . Islands start solo. Inviting someone with /is invite asks you to confirm, because it turns the island into a co-op island. Co-op islands hold 7 members, or 8 with the Team Size upgrade.

### Island prestige and the weekly island top
The weekly island competition ranks islands by island worth gained that week. Worth comes from value blocks placed on the island. Only new value above your island's previous best counts, so moving blocks around does not earn points twice.

### Making money
Early on, money comes from your skills: every Harvester tool auto-sells what it gathers, and money-paying enchants like Crop Rain, Resin Rain, Nuke and the virtual enchants add large bursts. Milestone rewards in /skills also pay money and skill coins.

### AFK spawners and sell chests
Iron Golem, Villager, Guardian, Witch and Silverfish spawners cannot be hit by players, so they are farmed with environmental mob farms that run while you are on your island. Their drops go into chunk hoppers and sell chests, which sell them on a timer from.

A Booster Cookie lasts 24 hours once eaten. While it is active you earn bits, unlock a second pet slot, get a chance at 2x crops, blocks and mobs, and receive +55% to all five skill coins and +45% to money and skill XP.

### Battle pass, daily quests and milestones
The Season 9 battle pass started 12 September 2026 and runs for 6 weeks, with free and premium reward tracks. You earn pass XP by farming, killing mobs, mining in the Mining World, fishing and foraging, plus daily and one-off quests such as reaching island.

### Joining, Java and Bedrock

Join TalonMC at play.talonmc.net and pick Skyblock. Java and Bedrock players play together; Bedrock players connect on the default port 19132 and receive a converted resource pack with the custom items.

### Store, ranks and fairness
The TalonMC store sells Credits, ranks, Plus, booster cookies and crates. Everything that drives progression, skills, enchants, spawners, islands and prestiges, is earned in game, and Credits themselves are also earned in game from skill milestones.

## Classic Skyblock or RPG Skyblock?

Classic Skyblock is a small island, a tree and a long grind for cobblestone. RPG Skyblock, the Hypixel style, adds skills, gear and progression on top. TalonMC sits in the RPG camp: you still build your island from nothing, but skills, enchants and armor sets give the grind direction.
If you want to play with friends, invite them to your island and enter the Co-op island competition together.

## How to join the TalonMC Skyblock server

### Join on Java Edition

- **Open Minecraft Java Edition**Launch the game and click Multiplayer.
- **Add the server**Click Add Server and type `play.talonmc.net` as the server address.
- **Join and pick a gamemode**Click Join Server. You land in the hub, where an NPC or the server selector takes you to each gamemode.

### Join on Bedrock Edition

- **Open the Servers tab**On Windows, mobile or console, open Play and then Servers. Scroll down and tap Add Server.
- **Enter the address**Server address `play.talonmc.net`, port `19132`.
- **Save and join**Save it and tap the server to join. Bedrock players get a converted resource pack with the same custom items Java players see.

**Is TalonMC Skyblock classic Skyblock or OneBlock?**

Skills, enchants and island upgrades are earned by playing; the store sells boosts and convenience, not levels or enchants. The store sells Credits, cosmetics, crates and the Plus+ subscription, and voting gives free keys every day.

**What is the best way to make money on TalonMC Skyblock?**
Build an island spawner farm that feeds chunk hoppers and auto sell chests; it sells drops automatically every few seconds. Early on, grind any skill with its Auto Sell enchant and claim money milestones in /skills.
