# Prestige vs Rebirth: Requirements, Boosts and Milestones

## Prestige vs Rebirth: how it works

Prestige is the main ladder on TalonMC Prison, and there is no A to Z rank ladder. Rebirth is the reset layer on top: it trades your prestige for permanent boosts and a milestone reward every time.

**How to open it:** Prestige happens on its own, and `/autoprestige` turns it on or off. Use `/rebirth` when you reach the gate, `/milestones` for rewards, and `/ptop` or `/rtop` for leaderboards.

There are currently 100 rebirths, with boosts that grow through Rebirth 16.

- **Automatic prestige**: About once a second, your whole balance buys as many prestiges as it can, with no cap.
- **Half price start**: Players at Rebirth 0 and 1 pay half price for prestiges.
- **Rebirth gate**: Rebirth 1 needs 1Q prestige, and Rebirth 100 needs 4,575Q.
- **What resets**: Rebirth resets prestige, money, Prestige Points, Prestige Upgrades and Prestige Point enchant levels.
- **What you keep**: You keep every Token and Gem enchant, your gear and your purchases.
- **Rebirth boosts**: Rebirths 1 to 16 each add 40% money, 13% Tokens and Gems, and 50% Prestige Points.
- **Milestone rewards**: Every rebirth up to 100 pays a reward, 92 Weekly Crates and 82,800 Credits in total.

**Note:** From Rebirth 17 the boosts stop growing, but each rebirth still pays a milestone reward.

**Tips**

- Rebirths 1 to 16 also grant 5T Prestige Points each, so you rebuild faster after the reset.
- Your first rebirth pays 3 Weekly Crates and 1,500 Credits, and it unlocks the Kingpin enchant.
- Every rebirth up to 100 raises the Fortune cap and counts on `/rtop`.

Example: Rebirth 16 needs 375Q, and each rebirth after that adds 50Q. So Rebirth 17 needs 425Q, and Rebirth 100 needs 4,575Q.

## Prestige vs rebirth

Prestige is the main ladder. It is automatic: about once a second your whole balance is spent on as many prestiges as it can buy. The first prestige costs $420 and each one costs slightly more; there is no prestige cap. Players at Rebirth 0 and 1 pay half price. /autoprestige toggles it.
Rebirth is the reset layer. Once your prestige reaches the gate (1Q for Rebirth 1, up to 4,575Q for Rebirth 100), /rebirth resets your prestige, money, Prestige Points, Prestige Upgrades and Prestige Point enchant levels. You keep every Token and Gem enchant, your gear and purchases.
Rebirths 1 to 16 add permanent boosts (+40% money, +13% Tokens and Gems, +50% Prestige Points each) and a 5T Prestige Points grant to rebuild faster. Every rebirth up to 100 pays a milestone reward, raises the Fortune cap and counts on /rtop.

- Prestige: automatic, uncapped, gives Prestige Points
- Rebirth: resets prestige for permanent boosts, max Rebirth 100
- Boosts grow until Rebirth 16; rewards continue to Rebirth 100

## Rebirth requirements and rewards (R1 to R100)
Each rebirth needs a prestige total (Q = quadrillion). Rebirth resets prestige, money, Prestige Points, Prestige Upgrades and Prestige Point enchant levels, and keeps every other enchant, your gear and your purchases. The maximum is Rebirth 100.

## Rebirth boosts (R1 to R16)
Rebirths 1 to 16 each add permanent boosts. From Rebirth 17 onwards the boosts stop growing, but every rebirth still pays a milestone reward, raises the Token Fortune cap and counts on /rtop.

## Rebirth milestone rewards
Every rebirth from R1 to R100 pays a milestone reward in /milestones. Totals from R1 to R100: 92 Weekly Crates and 82,800 Credits, plus 26 Prestige T5 crates, 26 Salvage crates, 126 T12 Attachment Boxes, 126 T12 Crystal Boxes, 3,175 pet trait tickets and 3,175 pickaxe perk points.

**What are prestiges and rebirths?**
On TalonMC, prestige is the main ladder and it is bought automatically with your money, with no cap. Rebirth resets your prestige for permanent boosts through R16, and every rebirth up to R100 pays a milestone reward.

**How do I rank up fast on TalonMC Prison?**
Prison has no rank ladder: you climb prestige, which auto-buys with all your money. Push money with Fortune, Block Sell Price, money enchants and a high Combo, and stay under Rebirth 2 to prestige at half price.

**Is there a prestige cap?**
No. Prestige has no maximum; rebirth sets it back to 0 in exchange for permanent boosts.

**What is the max rebirth?**
Rebirth 100. Rebirth 1 needs 1Q prestige and Rebirth 100 needs 4,575Q.

**What is the difference between prestige and rebirth?**
Prestige is the automatic ladder you buy with money and it gives Prestige Points. Rebirth resets prestige, money, Prestige Points, Prestige Upgrades and Prestige Point enchants for permanent boosts and a milestone reward, while keeping your Token and Gem enchants.

**What do rebirths give?**

**When do the Prestige Shop and Essence Shop reset?**
Both restock daily at 3PM ET; the Essence Shop also reshuffles its 4 rotating deals at that time.
