# How to Join TalonMC

**Short answer:** Add `play.talonmc.net` as a server in Minecraft Java Edition and join. On Bedrock, use `play.talonmc.net` with port `19132`. For Cobblemon, install the TalonMC modpack from Modrinth first.

## Join steps for Java, Bedrock and Cobblemon

### Join on Java Edition

- **Open Minecraft Java Edition**Launch the game and click Multiplayer.
- **Add the server**Click Add Server and type `play.talonmc.net` as the server address.
- **Join and pick a gamemode**Click Join Server. You land in the hub, where an NPC or the server selector takes you to each gamemode.

### Join on Bedrock Edition

- **Open the Servers tab**On Windows, mobile or console, open Play and then Servers. Scroll down and tap Add Server.
- **Enter the address**Server address `play.talonmc.net`, port `19132`.
- **Save and join**Save it and tap the server to join. Bedrock players get a converted resource pack with the same custom items Java players see.

### Join the Cobblemon server

- **Install the modpack**Open the [TalonMC Cobblemon modpack on Modrinth](https://modrinth.com/modpack/talonmc-cobblemon) and install it with the Modrinth App, Prism Launcher or ATLauncher.
- **Launch the pack**Start Minecraft from the modpack profile. Vanilla clients cannot join, because the join queue checks the pack version.
- **Join**Click Multiplayer and join `play.talonmc.net`, then pick Cobblemon in the hub.

**Is TalonMC on Java and Bedrock?**
Yes. Every gamemode supports Java and Bedrock crossplay, except Cobblemon, which is Java only because it needs the Cobblemon mod.
