# Gens Islands, Teams and the Weekly Competition

## Gens Islands, Teams and the Weekly Competition: how it works

Your island is where your generators live, and you can share it with friends as a team. Island upgrades boost the whole team, and every week islands race on the competition boards. Milestones reward your lifetime totals on top.

**How to open it:** Create an island with `/is create <name>` and open the island menu with `/is`. Invite friends with `/is invite <player>`, buy upgrades in `/is upgrade`s, and check the race with `/competition` or `/top`.

There are currently 7 island upgrades, 4 weekly competition boards and 5 milestone tracks.

- **Generator Speed**: Cuts the time between drops from 20 seconds to 10 seconds over 10 levels.
- **Offline Production**: Cuts offline drops from 40 seconds each to 20 seconds over 5 levels.
- **Generator Value**: Raises drop value by 2% per level, up to +20% at level 10.
- **World coin upgrades**: Farm Coins, Mine Coins and Lake Coins each go up to +50% over 10 levels.
- **Team Size**: Raises your island from 7 members to 10 over 3 levels.
- **Competition boards**: Farming, Mining, Fishing and Generator Drops. The top 100 islands are ranked each week.
- **Milestones**: Playtime, Farming, Mining, Fishing and Prestige tracks pay keys, Credits, income pouches and attachment boxes.

**Note:** Only generator drops that get sold count on the Generator Drops board.

**Tips**

- Enchant procs count toward the Farming, Mining and Fishing boards, so strong enchants help your team climb.
- Sell your generator drops often during the week to keep your island climbing the Generator Drops board.
- World coin upgrades are paid in that world's coins, not Money, so spend spare coins there.
- The first playtime milestone arrives at 10 minutes, so early rewards come fast.

Example: Generator Speed takes drops from every 20 seconds to every 10 seconds, so one generator goes from 180 drops an hour to 360.

## Islands and Teams

Create an island with /is create and invite friends with /is invite. An island holds 7 members, up to 10 with the Team Size upgrade. Island upgrades and the weekly competition count for the whole team.

- Members can be promoted, demoted and kicked; you can lock the island, set warps and ban visitors.

## Milestones

Milestones reward you for lifetime totals in five tracks: Playtime, Farming, Mining, Fishing and Total Prestige. Early playtime rewards arrive fast: the first is at 10 minutes.

- Playtime runs from 10 minutes to 30 days.
- Prestige runs from 1 to 1,500 total prestiges.

Buy island upgrades in /is upgrades. They apply to the whole island team.

## Weekly Island Competition Boards
Every week islands compete on four boards. Week 1 started on 2026-10-17 at 3 PM New York time and a new week starts every 7 days. The top 100 islands are ranked. Open it with /competition; /top shows the leaderboard.

| Farming | Every crop your island harvests, enchants included |
| Mining | Every ore your island mines, enchants included |
| Fishing | Every fish your island catches, enchants included |
| Generator Drops | Every generator drop from your island that gets sold |

## Milestones
Milestones pay rewards as your lifetime totals grow: keys, Credits, income pouches, attachment boxes and more.
