# Dungeons Seasons: Dates and What Resets

## Dungeons Seasons: how it works

Dungeons runs in seasons of several weeks, each launched on a Saturday at 3PM Eastern. A new season resets progress and brings a new battle pass and new weekly crate armor sets.

**How to open it:** Type `/battlepass` to open the Season 6 battle pass.

There have been 6 seasons so far, and Season 6 is the current one.

- **Season 6**: Started on Saturday 2026-10-10 at 3PM Eastern, which is 19:00 UTC.
- **Battle pass**: Free and premium tracks with rewards up to tier 150 and 100 XP per level.
- **Pass length**: The Season 6 battle pass runs 8 weeks, to 2026-12-05.
- **Weekly crates**: Crates rotate during the season, each with its own armor set.
- **New Game**: Inside a season, New Game is the deepest reset you choose yourself.
- **Not Minecraft Dungeons**: This is a mode on a regular Minecraft server, not Mojang's separate Minecraft Dungeons game.
- **Java and Bedrock**: You join with Minecraft Java or Bedrock edition, not the Minecraft Dungeons app.

**Tips**

- Join near launch day, since everyone starts fresh and the leaderboards are wide open.
- Check `/battlepass` often for weekly quests and free tier rewards.
- Bedrock players can open the sword menu with sneak plus use.

## Seasons and what resets

Dungeons runs in seasons of several weeks. Six seasons have launched since February 2026, each on a Saturday at 3PM Eastern. A new season brings a fresh start, a new battle pass and new seasonal content such as the weekly crate armor sets.
Season 6 started on 2026-10-10. Its battle pass has free and premium tracks, 150 tiers and 100 XP per level, and runs 8 weeks to 2026-12-05.

- Inside a season, New Game is the deepest reset you choose yourself.
- Weekly crates rotate during the season, each with its own armor set.

## How it differs from the Minecraft Dungeons game

Minecraft Dungeons is a separate dungeon-crawler game made by Mojang. TalonMC Dungeons is a game mode on a normal Minecraft server: you join with Minecraft Java or Bedrock edition, not with the Minecraft Dungeons app.
Instead of levels with loot and health bars, TalonMC Dungeons is an incremental mob-fighting mode. You never take damage; the goal is to scale your income and power through zones, enchants, sets and resets, alongside other players.

**Is there a server like Minecraft Dungeons in normal Minecraft?**
Yes. TalonMC Dungeons plays like a dungeon crawler inside regular Minecraft Java and Bedrock, with zones, loot, bosses and gear sets.

**Can I play Minecraft Dungeons multiplayer on a server?**
Minecraft Dungeons itself has no public servers. To play a dungeon mode with other people on a server, join a Minecraft dungeon server like TalonMC Dungeons.

**When does the next Dungeons season start?**
Seasons launch on Saturdays at 3 PM ET, roughly every five to seven weeks. Join the Discord for the date.

**Is TalonMC Dungeons the same as Minecraft Dungeons?**
No. Minecraft Dungeons is Mojang's separate game. TalonMC Dungeons is a game mode you play inside regular Minecraft on the TalonMC server.
