How TalonMC is built
The TalonMC team writes the code for every gamemode instead of stacking public plugins, so each mode has systems you will not find elsewhere: the Cobblemon gym ladder with Nightmare teams, Skyblock's five-skill prestige system, Prison's automatic uncapped prestige, the Gens Omnitool and the Dungeons zone ladder.
Gamemodes run in seasons, and each new season starts a fresh race. Bedrock players join through crossplay and get a converted resource pack with the same custom items Java players see.
The six TalonMC gamemodes
TalonMC Cobblemon
TalonMC Cobblemon (play.talonmc.net) is a Pokemon Minecraft server running Cobblemon 1.7 on Java 1.21.1, with 10 type gyms across four difficulties, 8 legendary quest chains, 5 dungeon tiers, server raids and Pokemon skins. You join with the free TalonMC modpack on Modrinth.
TalonMC Skyblock
TalonMC Skyblock (play.talonmc.net) is a custom-coded Minecraft Skyblock server for Java and Bedrock, now on Season 9: five skills with ten prestiges each, custom OP enchants, island prestige, weekly island competitions, AFK spawners and minions.
TalonMC Survival SMP
TalonMC Survival (play.talonmc.net) is a grief-protected Minecraft SMP for Java and Bedrock with land claims, 14 jobs, Survival Levels 1 to 100, keep inventory, 198 trading cards, 40 daily missions and the Deadzone, a PvE extraction mode you enter with /dz.
TalonMC Prison
TalonMC Prison (play.talonmc.net) is an OP Prison Minecraft server for Java and Bedrock, now on Season 3: every player gets a personal mine, a pickaxe with 118 custom enchants, an automatic prestige ladder with no cap, rebirths up to R100, mine bosses, three Mega Boss fights a day and gangs.
TalonMC Gens
TalonMC Gens (play.talonmc.net) is an Olympus-themed generators server for Java and Bedrock: place generators on your island and climb 80 tiers from Wheat to Beacon, then work the Farm, Mine and Lake worlds with one Omnitool. It launched on 17 October 2026.
TalonMC Dungeons
TalonMC Dungeons (play.talonmc.net) is a dungeon-crawler Minecraft server for Java and Bedrock, now on Season 6: fight through combat zones with a sword, rebirth, prestige and push New Game levels up to NG10, with an auto-fighter companion that hunts mobs for you.

About TalonMC
What is TalonMC?
TalonMC is a free Minecraft server network for Java and Bedrock at play.talonmc.net, with Cobblemon, Skyblock, Survival SMP, Prison, Gens and Dungeons on one IP.
Is TalonMC good?
We run it, so judge for yourself, but here is what you get: six custom-coded gamemodes, regular seasons, Java and Bedrock crossplay, an active Discord and no cost to play. Skyblock alone has 120 custom enchants and Prison has 118.
How many players does TalonMC have?
1,824 players were online across the TalonMC network when we last checked on 30 October 2026, the network has 1,000,000+ unique joins, and the Discord has 26,000+ members.
Is TalonMC still active?
Yes. Dungeons Season 6 started on 10 October 2026, Prison Season 3 on 26 September 2026, Skyblock Season 9 on 12 September 2026, and Gens launched on 17 October 2026.
When did TalonMC launch?
TalonMC has run public seasons since June 2025, starting with the first Prison season. Dungeons Season 1 followed in February 2026.
Is TalonMC pay to win?
Progression on every gamemode can be earned by playing, and voting pays up to 3,900 Credits a month on Survival. The store sells Credits, ranks, boosts, crates, cosmetics and Plus+, which speed things up but do not replace play.
What is the TalonMC server IP?
play.talonmc.net for Java. Bedrock uses the same address with port 19132.
Can I play TalonMC on console or mobile?
Yes, through Bedrock Edition on every gamemode except Cobblemon, which needs Java Edition and the TalonMC modpack. On Windows and mobile, add play.talonmc.net port 19132 in the Servers tab. Consoles limit custom servers, so ask in the Discord for the current console join steps.
Is TalonMC safe to join?
Yes. Joining a Minecraft server only needs the server address. Cobblemon needs the official TalonMC modpack from Modrinth, and store purchases go through PayNow at store.talonmc.net.
