## What's the best prison server to play?

Our answer is TalonMC Prison. We put it side by side with Complex Gaming, OPBlocks, ManaCube, MC Central, JartexNetwork and PikaNetwork below, using facts from each server's own website, and explain where TalonMC wins and where the others are stronger.
You will also find every reason we pick TalonMC, the checklist we judge Minecraft prison servers by, who it suits and how to join in under a minute. New to the gamemode? Start with [Minecraft Prison Servers in 2026](https://www.talonmc.net/minecraft-prison-servers/).

## Why TalonMC is the best Prison server in 2026

- **A personal mine for every player**No fighting over shared mines. Upgrade your own mine for size and block value.
- **118 pickaxe enchants**Token, Gem and Prestige Point enchants, from Token Miner and Fortune to whole-mine bombs like Nuke and Zenith. Your pickaxe levels to 5,000 and 72 enchants can prestige once maxed.
- **Prestige that buys itself**No slow A to Z ladder: your money buys prestiges automatically, about once a second, with no cap.
- **Rebirths to R100**Rebirth for permanent boosts through R16. The rebirth milestones up to R100 pay 92 Weekly Crates and 82,800 Credits in total.
- **Bosses**Mine bosses in four rarities spawn while you hand-mine, and a server-wide Mega Boss rises at 10 AM, 3 PM and 9 PM Eastern.
- **Goku Mode and events**Every 10,000 hand-mined blocks doubles your Money, Tokens, Gems and Pickaxe XP for 60 seconds, and two mining events start every 30 minutes.
- **Gangs**Team up and climb hourly, daily and weekly gang tops, with gang upgrades and a shard shop.

## What makes a great Prison server (and how TalonMC measures up)
The checklist we judge Minecraft prison servers by, with the numbers from the live game.

| What to look for | Why it matters | How TalonMC measures up |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Personal mines | Shared mines are slow and crowded | A private mine for every player |
| Deep enchants | Enchants are the core of OP Prison | 118 enchants across three currencies |
| Fast progression | You should see progress in your first session | Automatic prestige with no cap |
| Long-term goals | Keeps the grind going for weeks | Rebirths to R100 with milestone rewards |
| Events and bosses | Gives you reasons to log in | Mega Boss 3 times a day, mining events every 30 minutes |
| Seasons | Fresh starts keep it fair | Season 3 since 26 September 2026 |
| Crossplay | Your friends might be on Bedrock | Java and Bedrock on one IP |

## How we judge, and what TalonMC Prison is not

This page is written by the TalonMC team, so we hold it to two rules: every number comes from the game code or a public source you can check, and we say where TalonMC Prison is not the right fit.

**Not the right fit if:** you want a slow classic A to Z prison with shared mines. TalonMC is OP Prison with personal mines and automatic prestige, and it runs in seasons.

## Top Prison servers in 2026: TalonMC vs Complex Gaming, OPBlocks and more
How TalonMC stacks up against the biggest networks that run Prison, side by side.

| Server | Java address | Bedrock | Prison | Other gamemodes |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| TalonMC | play.talonmc.net | Yes, port 19132 | OP Prison on Season 3: a private mine for every player, 118 pickaxe enchants, automatic prestige with no cap, rebirths to R100 | Cobblemon, Skyblock, SMP, Prison, Gens, Dungeons |
| Complex Gaming | hub.mc-complex.com | Yes, port 19132 | Rank-based prison with 38 mines, unlimited prestige, pickaxe upgrades and gangs | Skyblock, Survival, Factions, Prison, Cobblemon, Pixelmon |
| OPBlocks | play.opblocks.com | Yes | OP Prison; its latest season added a dungeons update and a gang update | Prison, Skyblock |
| ManaCube | play.manacube.com | Yes | Mythology-themed rank prison across several worlds, with custom pickaxes, rebirths and guilds | Parkour, Survival, KitPvP, Lifesteal, Skyblock, Prison, Towny, Creative |
| MC Central | mccentral.org | Yes | Prison 27.0: private mines, token backpacks, a Mining Frenzy event and ascension ranks up to 150 | Skyblock, Prison, Survival, Gens Tycoon |
| JartexNetwork | play.jartexnetwork.com | Yes | Prison with level rebirthing, classes and gang outposts; last reset 18 September 2026 | Factions, SkyBlock, Prison, Survival, Lifesteal, OneBlock, KitPvP, Gens, Bedwars |
| PikaNetwork | play.pika-network.net | Not confirmed | OP Prison | BedWars, OneBlock, KitPvP, Factions, Lifesteal, Prison, SkyBlock, Survival |

**Our take:** Complex, ManaCube and MC Central run rank-based prisons with a long rank ladder. TalonMC skips the ladder entirely: prestige buys itself, every player mines alone in a private mine, and the pickaxe has 118 enchants. Pick TalonMC if you want OP Prison numbers from the first minute; pick a rank-based prison if you enjoy a slow climb up a long rank ladder.

## Why TalonMC is the better Prison server: head to head
Where TalonMC wins each matchup, and where the other server is stronger.

| Matchup | Why TalonMC is better | Where they are stronger |
| --- | --- | --- |
| TalonMC vs Complex Gaming | No rank ladder to grind: prestige buys itself about once a second with no cap, and you mine in your own private mine instead of climbing through 38 rank mines. Java and Bedrock both get the same custom pickaxe. | A long-running network with a classic rank climb. |
| TalonMC vs OPBlocks | A pickaxe with 118 enchants across three currencies, a private mine for every player, and three Mega Boss fights a day on a fixed schedule. | OPBlocks has run prison for many seasons and just added a dungeons update. |
| TalonMC vs ManaCube | OP Prison numbers from the first minute instead of a rank-by-rank climb across worlds, plus rebirths with milestone rewards all the way to R100. | ManaCube has a bigger network with more side gamemodes like Parkour and Towny. |
| TalonMC vs MC Central | Prestige is automatic and uncapped instead of capped ascension ranks, and Goku Mode doubles your Money, Tokens, Gems and Pickaxe XP for 60 seconds after every 10,000 hand-mined blocks. | MC Central is on Prison 27.0 and has token backpacks. |
| TalonMC vs JartexNetwork | Personal mines, 118 enchants and automatic prestige, with every system documented on our site from the game code. | Jartex has classes and gang outposts. |

## TalonMC vs Complex Gaming vs MC Central vs ManaCube: feature by feature
Every major system side by side, with the reason we prefer TalonMC on each one. "Not stated on their site" means we could not find it on that server's own pages.

| | TalonMC | Complex Gaming | MC Central | ManaCube | Why we prefer TalonMC |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Mines | A private personal mine for every player, upgraded for size and block value | 38 mines | Private mines | Rank-based mines across several worlds | Your mine is always yours and always full |
| Progression | Automatic prestige with no cap, then rebirths with milestones to R100 | Rank-based with unlimited prestige | Ascension ranks up to 150 | Ranks and rebirths | No rank ladder to grind: your money buys prestiges about once a second |
| Pickaxe | 118 enchants across Tokens, Gems and Prestige Points, pickaxe level 5,000, enchant prestige on 72 enchants | Pickaxe upgrades | Token backpacks | Custom pickaxes | A full enchant tree to build, not a single upgrade menu |
| Events and bosses | Mega Boss at 10 AM, 3 PM and 9 PM Eastern, two mining events every 30 minutes, mine bosses and Goku Mode | Not stated on their site | A Mining Frenzy event | Not stated on their site | Something to log in for at fixed times every day |

| Bedrock | Yes, port 19132 | Yes, port 19132 | Yes | Yes | Same custom pickaxe on both editions |

## Why we prefer TalonMC Prison

We prefer TalonMC Prison because it respects your time. There is no rank ladder: your money buys prestiges automatically, about once a second, with no cap. You mine in your own private mine, so you never wait for a reset or fight for blocks.
The pickaxe is the deepest part: 118 enchants across three currencies, a level cap of 5,000 and enchant prestige on 72 of them. Fixed Mega Boss times, mining events every 30 minutes and Goku Mode give every session a peak.
Where others win: rank-based prisons like Complex, ManaCube and MC Central suit players who enjoy a slow climb, and MC Central is already on its 27th prison version. If you want OP Prison numbers from your first minute, start on TalonMC.

## OP Prison vs classic prison in 2026

| | Classic prison | OP Prison (TalonMC) |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Mines | Shared mines per rank | A private personal mine for every player |
| Ranks | A to Z, a long grind per rank | No A to Z: prestige is bought automatically, uncapped |
| Pickaxe | A few enchants | 118 enchants across Tokens, Gems and Prestige Points, pickaxe level 5,000 |
| Long-term goal | Prestige | Rebirths to R100 with milestone rewards |
| Events | Occasional | Mega Boss 3 times a day, mining events every 30 minutes, Goku Mode |
